About the Press
Open Christian University Research Repository (OCUR) is the official institutional platform dedicated to preserving, disseminating, and promoting the scholarly and research contributions of Open Christian University (OCU). Established to advance academic excellence, intellectual integrity, and the responsible sharing of knowledge, OCUR provides a permanent digital home for approved doctoral dissertations, master's theses, research papers, scholarly reports, working papers, and other academic outputs produced within the University.
Grounded in OCU's commitment to Christ-centred education and the authority of Scripture (Sola Scriptura), the Repository encourages rigorous, original, and ethically responsible scholarship across theological, educational, social, scientific, technological, and interdisciplinary fields. It seeks to strengthen the relationship between faith, scholarship, and practice while contributing meaningfully to academic discourse, institutional knowledge, and the advancement of society.
OCUR promotes open access to scholarly knowledge wherever copyright, institutional policies, and applicable permissions allow. Publications are deposited following appropriate academic approval and quality-assurance procedures, with accurate bibliographic records, clear attribution, and persistent identifiers where available. By preserving and increasing the visibility of OCU's intellectual contributions, the Repository supports scholarly discovery, responsible knowledge exchange, and the University's mission of equipping learners and researchers for faithful service to God and humanity.
