Vocation, professional practice, internships and capstone integration: Applying business knowledge with integrity and service

Professional competence is proved when knowledge survives contact with consequential work. This final chapter integrates the book through vocation, work-integrated learning, professional judgment and capstone execution. It distinguishes work exposure from designed learning; develops the Foundation and Mission/Capstone Internship as progressive forms of professional formation; and explains placement selection, learning plans, evidence logs, feedback, reflection, confidentiality, professional identity and moral courage. It then shows how workplace observations become bounded capstone problems, how approved research designs are executed without methodological drift, and how evidence is translated into feasible recommendations, implementation roadmaps, executive communication and oral defence.
